Article: Adding a Pinch of Pepper to your Sock Drawer

Adding a Pinch of Pepper to your Sock Drawer

Adding a Pinch of Pepper to your Sock Drawer

New trends are constantly flooding our social media feeds, and just like you guys, we love to keep up with them. Whether we’re finding Highstreet dupes for runway pieces or reworking our wardrobes to suit this season’s on-trend colour (anything with a coffee tone right now it seems), these trends can take time and money to master. And with trends emerging almost weekly, keeping up with everyone is pretty damn difficult. Our lockdown bank accounts can tell you that for themselves.

Therefore, when a new trend arises, one which takes minimal effort and minimal funds, we’re on it.

We’re talking socks. This trend we believe has been inspired by our very own lockdown wardrobes. We haven’t needed our pop socks for cute trainers, or thick fluffy socks for our winter boots. With not leaving the house we’ve turned to our comfortable everyday pairs, also known as crew socks. What started as a way of dressing up our slouchy joggers and comfy hoodies, has now led to this season’s must have accessory.

Introducing Pepper Girls Club’s new collection of Pepper Socks. We wanted to spice up your sock drawers with a pinch of Pepper and take our own spin on the signature sock trend. Our new unisex logo socks are comfortable to wear whilst providing a chic finishing touch to your look. They are available in sets of Black, White and a combo of both colours. What’s even better is that they are only £8.99 per set, meaning this is a trend which won’t break the bank.

The best news about this trend is that it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. We’ve seen athletes using the Nike sock trend for decades, with that legendary tick becoming a fashion statement within itself.

Styling your favourite socks has a multitude of avenues to follow too. From pairing with leggings, tracksuit bottom, jeans and shorts. Or styling them with trainers, boots or perhaps heels. Even the combo of socks and sandals was covered in in Vogue last year.

Tyler the Creator has been known to style signature socks with sandals and Dr. Martens, pushing the boundaries of fashion for men and women across the globe.

Pinterest also serves us with some stunning inspiration as we can see how simple crew socks can be dress up with sandals or styled with heels, as seen in the Versace AW19 show.

A look which is totally perfect for this winter season is pairing your Pepper Socks with your favourite boots, pulling the socks up just high enough to see the Pepper Girls Club logo. A pair of socks also helps to create a smoother look when you are wearing boots with bare legs and can also stop your boots from having that wide welly effect.

And last but not least, the faultless combination of stylish crew socks and boujee trainers. Think of it as art. You buy a priceless beautiful work of art. You’re going to buy a just as precious frame, aren’t you? Why not complete your look by decoratively pairing trainers with sleek and stylish socks. This is a look we are certainly here for at Pepper Girls Club.
