We are still buzzing from the excitement of this year’s York Fashion Week, and the arrival of the very first Pepper Girls Club Runway Show!
As you may already know, Pepper Girls Club chose YFW to debut our very first collection of events. And it was about time we all finally met you guys. Bringing the Pepper brand to York was the perfect way for us to not just show you the new collection, but let you all experience it.
But we didn’t just kick off the day with a runway show. Absolutely not. We worked with the legendary photographer Courtney Paul who we all know and love, and has been behind our iconic past Pepper shoots. Our Pepper Girls were also out in full force, bringing their unforgettable energy, sassiness, and moves to the photoshoot stage. Our models represent you guys, and show that no matter your culture, shape, or background, you are beautiful inside and out.
So whilst the photoshoot was in full swing, with Doja on full blast, the real star of the show was setting up shop in the Pepper Girls Club Pop-Up Shop. Letitia Crosby. Mother of our Founder, Charlotte Crosby, and absolute boss at Pepper Girls Club. Customers arrived at The Principal Gardens ready to shop ’til they dropped as the Pop-Up featured some exclusive pieces from the Pepper Archive. The store featured a range of our classic Tees, from both the Star Sign and Good Fortune collections, as well as some of our favourite bags.
Back to the main marquee. 7pm came around quick, our team of models went back into glam, and guests eagerly began to arrive sporting their Friday night party wear. These girls were ready to celebrate. And they’d come to the right place.
The marquee buzzed as excited guests awaited the start of the show. The Prosecco was flowing and the DJ curated the perfect vibe to get us hyped for an unforgettable evening. Once the clock chimed 7:30, we were off.
Our models strutted the runway with attitude, personality, and true Pepper style. The new Spring Summer collection was styled with this season’s most fashionable tones of emerald green, smooth sand and bright yellow. The new handbag collection has a whole new take on Pepper style, with an all new Mini Backpack and Bucket Bag due to hit the store soon. We also saw some new additions to the Pepper clothing line, including Dungarees and Shirt Co-ords that are right around the corner.Crosby took to the stage to talk us through the latest pieces and how it is all thanks to the support of our loyal customers that Pepper is the very brand it is today. The show ended with a final walk from the models wearing our new Pepper Boyfriend Hoodie, with Charlotte following the model train and dancing down the runway.A night we won’t be forgetting anytime soon, and we owe a big thank you to you guys for making the evening so special! Watch this space as this certainly isn’t the last event from us at Pepper Girls Club!
